================= General Information =================
Hey there! Thanks for downloading this small Custom Track sampler hack for Mario Kart Super Circuit!
This small patch is a Proof of Concept of custom tracks being a thing on MKSC! It features some existing
tracks from Super Mario Kart hacks by multiple people.

This patch includes 8 Custom Tracks on the Extra/SNES tracks. You can find which slots contain a custom track on the list below:
- Donut Plains 1 - Contains a track based around Sparkle Oasis from the hack "Super Mario Kart Remix" by gridatttack
- Bowser Castle 2 - Binouz Castle 3, from the "Super Parigo Kart" hack, made by ScouB
- Choco Island 2 - An adaption/port of Off the Grid 1 track, from the hack "Sour Music Kart", made by gridatttack
- Vanilla Lake 1 - Another port from a SMK hack named "Super Mario Kart 20XX", by Cocatriz
- Mario Circuit 4 - A port of Alpine Pass 1, from the hack "Super Mario Kart Remix" by gridatttack
- Koopa Beach 2 - An adaption/port of Portland 2 track, from the hack "Sour Music Kart", made by gridatttack
- Ghost Valley 3 - The original version of the track Nuked Chicago 3 when it was known as "The Lake" featuring the original Ghost Valley tileset, from the hack "Sour Music Kart", made by gridatttack
- Rainbow Road - Contains a track based on Record Studio, from "Sour Music Kart", edited to accomodate for the starting position, by gridatttack

================= Additional Information =================
Since this is strictly a Time Trial only hack, in order to make things more interesting, this patch should include
a save file of the game with the extra/snes tracks unlocked so you can access them right away, as well as it contains
the time of my best run on each track! Can you beat the time set for each track? (Yes, I know you can cheese Choco Island 2, but where is the fun in that? ;P)

Some tracks, like Koopa Beach 2 and Choco Island 2 are actually playable on Quick Run if you want to play against CPUs! (Though the CPUs still choke on the obstacles)
While they don't race perfectly, the general structure of the tracks allow for them to finish a lap.

Also included here are save states for the mGBA emulator which you can check the replay for each time set!
Just load the save state file directly with mGBA via "File -> Load State File" and you should be on the Result screen, then select view replay!
(except Bowser Castle 2, since that one is the most difficult course featured here, and I can only do so much with a keyboard!)

================= Q & A =================
Q: Why are these only SNES/Extra tracks?
A: Unfortunately, due to the current limitations of inserting the tracks back in, we can only attempt to port existing SMK tracks
into the extra slots, since they are the same size (a 128x128 grid made up of 8x8 tiles) and are easier to import from SMK.

Q: When will a formal editor be released?
A: MKSC hacking is still in it's early steps. We still need to find the data for AI checkpoints, GP items, expand the offset for tracks so size limitation is not a problem; among many other stuff.
Rigth now, the tool used to import tracks is in a very alpha state and requires some external setup to get it up and running

Q: Any place where I can get updates of MKSC hacking?
A: Yes, you can join the MKSC hacking Discord here: https://discord.gg/Nu2SeBN

Q: How can I patch this?
A: Just find aa MKSC ROM somewhere, then you can use this nifty ROM patcher online: https://www.romhacking.net/patch/ or you can use Floating IPS to patch offline.
If you're wondering the checksum for which ROM was used, use the following values to check if the ROM will work:

CRC32: ed316e37
